In naming and designing a luxury cigar bar in Greece, there was little competition when it came to who was to inspire it. Aristotle Onassis was a Greek shipping magnate who amassed the world's largest privately owned shipping fleet and was one of the world's richest and most famous men. Onassis was a true cigar aficionado, rarely seen without a habano between his fingers.
Aristotle's is space that exudes opulence, with interiors that wouldn't look out of place on the most luxury of yachts. It is a relaxing environment for both business and pleasure.
Along with rich and tactile materials, we used subtle nods to Onassis' affinity with the sea, using subtle cues that evoke a sense of the sea in the designs.
The man himself. Always immaculately dressed and ready for business. Always with a cubano in hand.
We maintained the natural finishes of the materials, choosing to keep the raw hide on the menu interiors to add a sense of tactility to the experience.

The entrance through the lobby, is encased in marble, with a subtle brass sign
By abstracting the cross section of a cigar with the tightly rolled tobacco leaves it opens it to new interpretations; it evokes a sense of the sea and rocks against the shore, linking it back to Onassis.
The matches are cased in deep ocean blue, a colour which is carried across the match heads as well to further reference Aristotle's links to the sea.
